Dear colleagues, young researchers,
The traditional European international seminar SEMDOK
history began in the year 1996. The seminar is organized by the
Department of Materials Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical
Engineering, University of Žilina, The Slovak Republic.
The seminar is intended for young scientists, doctoral students, postdoctoral
fellows and teaching staff. The seminar offers them the
opportunity to present and discuss their ideas, proposals, used and
invented experimental procedure, and of course the obtained results.
Their presentations will be discussed by the other young participants
and by experts teaching and working in the fields of Technology
Engineering and Materials Sciences (CZ, IT, PL, RS and SK). The
language is English. The selected articles accepted by the international
scientific committee are published in some journals in addition to
SEMDOK proceeding:

An important goal of the seminar is also to establish international
cooperation, learn about the culture, regional customs and natural
beauties of the Slovak Republic.
